Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh 强记肉骨茶

An hour's drive from Gelang Patah to Kota Tinggi for Kiang Kee Bak Kut Teh (强记肉骨茶) after our praying session at Xiu Ben Tang (修本堂). We followed the Google GPS navigation and arrived at around 10.30am. It was satisfying to have clay pot Bak Kut Teh on a rainy day. As the place was built under the attap roof, it'd be cooling despite hot weather.

We ordered the claypot bak kut teh (肉骨茶), preserved vegetables (梅菜), fried dough fritters (油条), braised pork trotters (卤猪脚) and pig stomach soup (胡椒猪肚).
Bak Kut Teh is served with delectable herbal broth, pork ribs, pork belly, pork small intestines, fried beancurd skin and button mushroom.
