Hamasen Railway Cultural Park 哈瑪星鐵道文化園區 (Kaohsiung)

Originally, the railway was used for transportation of goods to Kaohsiung Port Station. However, the usage of railway gradually declined and the railway area was preserved. The large field became a popular place for locals and tourists.
Parents bring their children for kite-flying at this large open space.

Hamasen Station (Light Rail) is situated between Sizihwan MRT Exit 2 and the park.

Duck Zhen / Ya Rou Zhen 鴨肉珍 (Kaohsiung)

Upon arrival in Kaohsiung, we settled our lunch at Duck Zhen for their well-known duck rice.

Join the queue and place your order with your table number (inside or outside of the store).

We ordered the vegetables, braised pork rice (small) and duck rice (big). Quite filling for 2 persons.
点了燙青菜, 肉燥飯 (小) 和 鴨肉飯 (大)。Pay when the order is served.

From Kaohsiung Main Station Area C bus stop, we took Bus 56 and alight at Jianguo 4th Road Intersection bus stop opposite of Duck Zhen.
