Chi-Gui Mala Hot Pot 赤鬼麻辣火锅 (Mid Valley Southkey)

Chi-Gui Mala Hot Pot serves a variety of soup bases such as the green mala spicy soup, mala with milk soup, red mala spicy soup, fresh tomato soup, tonkotsu soup, etc.

We had the quarter pot to enjoy 4 different soup bases which consist of Chinese herbal chicken, pepper pork herbal, fresh mushroom and tonkotsu soups. 

Ordered the pork belly and kurobuta collar slices, ham meat balls, pork liver, seafood tofu, fried bean curd sheets, fried luncheon meat, dry noodles and enoki mushroom.

They have the scallop pork meat paste, shrimp paste, etc.

Sauce bar and dessert is at RM6 per pax, comes with free flow of ice cream and fruits.

Matcha ice cream is recommended!

Also recommend to order the brown sugar ice jelly (RM8)

City Hot Pot 旺爐 (Tanjong Pagar)

旺爐 is conveniently located near Tanjong Pagar MRT, serves individual hotpot with a variety of soup bases such as Thai Tom Yum, Tomato, Bak Kut Teh and others.

You can enjoy a double soup base by adding a dollar.

Had a simple meal with my family, we chose set meal E that comes with main course, vegicombo and staple.

Fish Maw Fish Soup

Fish Soup with Milk & Prawn Soup

Chicken breast slices, pork collar slices, rice vermicelli and udon

Prawns, fish fillet, vegetable and mushroom combo

Herbal Chicken Soup with Lamb slices, fried tofu skin and braised pork rice.

Though it might be a bit filling but I enjoyed the braised pork rice, recommend to order as staple.

One can also enjoy single meal set by selecting the type of meat, set meal comes with vegetable platter and staple.

Tien Shui Yueh (Tian Shui Yue) Hotpot 天水玥秘境鍋物殿(Kaohsiung)

Great atmosphere for having hotpot! Besides hotpot, they serve a variety of sushi (寿司).

Main entrance

Entry to the dining area, you'll see the big Buddha face and candles lights.

Placing order

Choose from konbu, mala, tomato, cotton candy, vegetarian, milk or traditional (chicken/pork) soup bases

A la carte meat and vegetables selection for hotpot

Customise your sauce. They provide minced garlic, satay sauce, spring onions, chilli and soya sauce.

Recommend to order hotpot set which is reasonably priced with quantity

Shantou Chuan Cheng was established since 1943 and is well-known for its "Sha Cha" (沙茶) hotpot. Besides the satay soup base (沙茶醬), there are eight other choices such as the Huadiao wine with chinese herb, Mala chilli, Fish head with vegetables and two-choice combo. 百年汕頭老字號火鍋!
