Yehliu Geopark 野柳地質公園 (Taipei)

Memorable day spent with Ah Hiong (老妈) visiting Yehliu Geopark on a raining day.
We took bus no. 1815 from the bus terminal located outside of Taipei Main Station (Door East 1).
The journey took about an hour plus to reach the bus stop along Gangxi Road and from there, we walked to the Yehliu Geopark.
It was windy and raining as we walked along Gangdong Road. Ah Hiong's NT100 umbrella was blown inside out and we broke into laughter. But she continued to use her broken umbrella.
Spotted a number of seafood restaurants along Gangdong Road.
Reaching Yehliu Geopark
We bought the adult ticket at NT80 per person.
Geological and Landscape map found at the Visitor Center.

The toasted garlic bread tastes real good and super addictive. I could finish the small packet with no additional assistance. Small packet for 40 baht and big packet for 60 baht.
We placed an order of 25 small packets two hours before we check-out. They delivered to the hotel at a delivery charge of 450 baht. Not too expensive if you share the delivery cost among your friends and the toasted garlic bread is worth it.

Chew Jetty is accessible within a few minutes walk from the Weld Quay Bus Terminal. From Komtar, take the CAT Free Shuttle Bus at Bus Stop No. 9 Komtar Pusat to Weld Quay Bus Terminal. You'll see a Taoist temple in front of the entrance of Chew Jetty.

Along the stretch of Chew Jetty that is built on stilts, you can purchase magnets,

We also enjoyed the durian puff there. They open daily from 8am to 6pm.

Yummy!
After visiting Chew Jetty, we went to take some photos of Penang Street Art which is located nearby.
