Katto (One-North) [CLOSED]

Katto serves sashimi fish, grilled flaked salmon and others, with their sides in convenient sashimi boxes. Their sides consist of wafu tomatoes, pickled cucumbers, pickled mushrooms, roasted edamame, miso butter corn and seaweed salad.

You can choose the main size (S$12.90) with two sides or mini size (S$7.90) with one side, together with white, brown rice or salad base.

Irodori Sushi 鮨彩割烹 (Taichung)

Irodori Sushi (鮨彩壽司) is located on the 11th floor of Taroko Mall (新時代店). The mall is conveniently located behind Taichung railway station. You can also shop at Carrefour after filling your stomach.

We ordered the meal set for 2 persons at NT$1048.

Refreshing dish of fried fish, kelp, onion, cherry tomatoes with a little sour taste (maybe it's vinegar).

Japanese rolled omelette (Tamagoyaki)

Assorted vegetable tempura

Well marinated and tender fried chicken

Lastly, our dessert - matcha and vanilla ice cream.

Baikohken Ramen 梅光軒ラーメン (Orchard)

Founded in 1969 from Hokkaido Asahikawa, Baikohken serves generous portion of ramen together with spring onions and bean sprouts in savory soup bases.

While waiting for the seats, choose your ramen and make your order at the cashier.
You can select either the regular size or half portion.

You'll be given 1 stamp for every $10 spent.

Tantanmen (Shop original)

Hot and spicy sesame sauce in miso flavour, serves with char siew, bamboo shoots, ajitama, spring onions, boiled bean sprouts and minced meat.

Shoyu Ramen
Ramen in soy sauce soup base with char siew, spring onions and bamboo shoots.

Butter & Corn Ramen
Choose from Shoyu or Miso flavour, serves with char siew, bamboo shoots, spring onions, butter & corn and fried bean sprouts (only miso flavour).

Itacho Sushi 板長寿司

Itacho Sushi never fails to attract long queues outside their doors. Their first outlet was opened in Hong Kong before expanding their operations to Singapore. It was our first dining experience at Itacho Sushi and the food was definitely worth the spend.

Sushi Airways 寿司航空

Ladies and Gentleman

Welcome aboard Sushi Airways!

Sushi Airways is the first aircraft themed restaurant in Singapore and it is opened in the quaint Kampong Glam district. The stairs to level 2 seem to be leading us to the boarding gate.

I wonder what's kept in the service trolley?

A different dining experience with aircraft windows in the restaurant, it made us feel like we were in the air plane. Nonetheless, the dining area is limited to a number of seats, do make reservation if you have a big group.

Overall, I have enjoyed the "flight" experience with my friends. We were totally cool with the place that Joanna suggested. The dining ambience and quality of food were good. The gathering was a farewell dinner for Hyangin who was going back to Korea for good. I'll miss her and definitely visit her in Korea soon!
