Intercontinental Hotel 洲际城市酒店 (Singapore)

Where to stay in Singapore?
My friends and I stayed over at Intercontinental Hotel and we enjoyed our stay! The hotel is located next to Bugis Junction where we could shop and return to the hotel room at our convenience. The outdoor pool is also great for a swim in the morning as the building next to the hotel, sheltered the pool from the scorching sun.
Checking in the hotel was a breeze and we were given the room on the highest floor. Hooray!
The hotel provided great service that ensured our stay was a good one.
We encountered some issues and called the concierge a few times for assistance.
Their staff were friendly and ready to serve us with a great smile.
Room is equipped with nice amenities.
Spacious bathroom with bathtub provided.
Many TV Channels to choose from.
Magazines are available for your reading too.

I'm KIM Korean BBQ

안녕하세요 I'm KIM! A Korean BBQ restaurant opened at School of The Arts, offers buffet style BBQ at affordable prices.
The restaurant is spacious and could accommodate 70 persons or more.
It consists of many ventilators on the ceiling so we won't smell that bad after the BBQ.
Let's get started!
Waiting for it to heat up, we went to get some meat and other food.
Wide variety of meat such as the spicy pork collar, pork belly, bacon, garlic chicken, marinated ribeye, beef roll, beef short ribs and many more. And the meat are well marinated.
I prefer the Signature Volcano Chicken. Thumbs up for the spicy taste!
We got the prawns, golden mushroom, kimchi and fresh lettuce.
The restaurant provides potato wedges, chicken nuggets, sweet potatoes, chicken wings, rice rolls, tteokbokki (rice cakes), japchae (glass noodles), buchimgae (pancakes) and potato salad.
And free flow of non-alcoholic drinks (ice water, lime juice, mango juice, rice punch and korean barley tea)!
What's essential for me is the garlic, chilli and onion to go along with the meat.
What's Korean BBQ without the alcohol? We ordered the Makkoli!
Chris suggested adding a little Makkoli to the ginseng chicken soup and it tasted good.
Help yourself to the soups - Seaweed soup, Ginseng Chicken soup, Kimchi soup and Mushroom soup.
Ice cream are sold near the cashier.
We had the Boonguhbbang (Red Bean Ice cream Sandwich), Melona (Melon Bar) and the Bbongddah (ice cream in tube).
Affordable prices

Llaollao (Plaza Singapura)

"Small pleasures, Great flavours!"
Pronounced as "Yao Yao", the natural frozen yogurt made from skimmed milk. I read that llaollao is overrated but I agree to disagree. If you like the frozen yogurt, you'll just simply buy it.
I'd still buy llaollao despite the long queue at Plaza Singapura, just to satisfy my craving.
So there I was, choosing my combination which is usually the Sanum or the Large cup.
Next, choose the crunch. For Sanum, I'd usually go for the almond crocanti.
And fruits to go along with the Sanum.
 Lastly, choose the sauce.
I had the Large cup with 3 toppings of almond crocanti.
Chris had her Sanum and Large cup too.

Joyce, Peiyun, Chris and I went back for more llaollao when we were nearby Plaza Singapura.
Often, my Sanum's topping is either wild strawberries or wild berries. I like it sweet and sour.
This time, I tried the Raffallao sauce (white chocolate, coconut, biscuit and brittle) which tastes great too.
