At times, I travel to Kukup to visit my grandparents and my friends would ask for the contacts of the Kukup Resorts so they can book for a short getaway (2 days 1 night). Below are a few of the Kukup resorts, not a comprehensive one but should be sufficed. Call the resorts to check on their available dates and rates! Some popular resorts are often reserved early.

 Nearby, there's a house that sells fried crispy prawn fritters and it only opens during evenings.

 As you walk further in, you'll see SJK Chi Mang school.

The other section enters from the left side.

Nearby the entrance, there's a mini provision shop.

You can also purchase different flavours of Soya Beancurd at PTD 505.

 Crystal Jelly are also available for sale (subject to stock availability).

This resort is located at the end of Kukup Laut which can be quite quiet at night. 

The hosts are very friendly and the resort is very spacious.

Towards the end of Kukup Laut, you'll see a temple and the two-storey building.

Upon walking further in, you will reach Kukup Xiang Holiday Home.

 The view of sunset is astonishing from 2nd storey.

Burp Kitchen & Bar (Bedok Reservoir)

Opened by three friends who settled Burp Kitchen & Bar at a quiet and cosy corner which has a scenic view of the Bedok Reservoir Park. The gastropub with warm lighting is a comfortable place to hang out with friends.

Tortilla wrap with pulled chicken, cheddar & mozzarella cheese

Recommend to order this dish with spicy buffalo wings, love the mozzarella cheese!

Grilled Shrimp Tacos

Grilled shrimps with apple slaw, salsa fresca, garlic cilantro lime mayo

Pork Carnitas Tacos

Slow cooked BBQ pulled pork with apple slaw and salsa fresca

The pulled pork is well marinated and goes well with beer.

Truffle Mushroom Carbonara Pasta

Linguine with sauteed mushrooms, carbonara sauce, truffle oil and parmesan

You could add bacon for an additional S$3.

Tom Yam Chicken Pasta

Linguine with diced chicken and tom yam sauce

Chicken Rendang Burger

Brioche bun with baby romaine, chicken thigh, rendang sauce and sunny side up

Crabby Patty Burger

Charcoal bun with baby romaine, filled with the battered juicy soft shell crab and served with salted egg yolk sauce

Dessert is also available with waffles or cake served with ice cream.

SuanThai restaurant serves "Eat All You Can" daily ala-carte buffet. Their thai dishes are delectable and we only topped up an additional cost per person for the free flow of iced lemon tea.

The first menu consists of Deep fried whole fish with sweet, sour & spicy sauce, Prawns with curry powder, chilli, eggs & onions, Green curry with mixed seafood and Pineapple rice which are the differences from the second menu.

Paik's Bibim And Paik's Coffee (Tiong Bahru Plaza) [CLOSED]

Specializes only in bibimbap, Paik's Bibim serves simple and healthy food such as the marinated tofu bibimbap, pork bibimbap, japchae, steamed egg, spicy bibim noodles, etc. You can also enjoy the food with simple take-out service. I prefer their seafood & pork bibimbap, fried chicken and strawberry banana smoothie (order their drinks at Paik's Coffee).
