I had a road trip with my family in Malaysia where we travelled to Desaru Fruit Farm, Kota Tinggi for fireflies, Kuala Lumpur, Ipoh and Malacca within a week. While we were at Ipoh, we dined at Restoran Foh San for breakfast. The restaurant serves an array of dim sum and was quite crowded during the early hours.
Rinse the tea cups using the bowl of warm water before pouring your tea
Place your order at the steamed dim sum counter, pass the staff the "Order sheet" for record. Payment later
Next to the steamed dim sum counter, they offer fried yam roll, crispy beancurd roll, fried pumpkin balls, egg tarts and more.
Yam pastry
Fried carrot cake (Recommend to order!)
Porridge would be good for the stomach in the early morning so we ordered the Sampan porridge and Claypot porridge.
Other dim sum on our order list includes the Supreme Prawn dumpling, Siew Mai, Carrot dumpling, Mushroom Cheong Fun, Kau Choy Teoh Chew dumpling (chives prawn dumpling), Steamed Chicken feet, Marinated steamed pork ribs, Classic Sesame pearls, Century egg siew mai and the big buns.
When big eaters come together for a BIG breakfast, these are what we ordered.
So full and satisfied!
